Now what is a corporate sponsor?
A corporate sponsor is one to whom you outsource exorbitant collections from your audience for a small fee. "but my audience buys their product anyway, so it is win win"
if the sponsor does not see a n increased result in sales from sponsoring you they will pull off.
"my audience cannot afford the ticket"
then they most probably wont also afford the over priced cola or jeans your ticket is being billed to
"all my sponsor wants is to put up a banner"

Honestly in my opinion sponsorship as we know it in India, is a downward spiral flushing more and more non-biodegradable shit into our cultural cesspit , and blocking the drains eventually.
